Recent Leanings

These works could be thought of as physical traces of difficult psycho-spiritual experiences; ecstatic states, stretched, squeezed and extruded; sequined entities transforming, absurd deities manifesting. They are beacons or signals, and potential receivers, signposts, markers of inner mind spaces. Scraps of found fabric, deconstructed clothing slung and draped, plastic flowers, bits of detritus with a prior history, artifacts that become marks assembled with a new purpose.
